PGE Skra currently is second in the group D of the CEV Champions League. Similarly to the leader in the Trefl Gdańsk table, the team gained six points. The remaining teams, Greenyard Maaseik and Berlin Recycling Volleys, have three points each. "That is why it will be a very important match for the final standings, and even a key one in the context of our promotion to the play-offs" - says Grzegorz Łomacz, setter of PGE Skra and the world champion. "So we have to win, and for that we will need concentration on our game."
Unfortunately, in Belgium, PGE Skra lost after a poor match 0:3. That's why Polish team wants to take a revenge. "We do not think about last result anymore. We have to play very good volleyball and hopefully this result would be good for us" - says Łomacz.
PGE Skra lost to ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle in the Polish Cup but previously played a very good match against Berlin Recycling Volleys. "The Polish Cup did not really come out, but we have two other goals to achieve and we have to be focused on them - says Łomacz. "After the match with Greenyard we go to Olsztyn, but first we play against Maaseik. We will definitely be ready for Wednesday.
The match will start at 18. Tickets are still available in the Energia hall and at Ticketik.pl.
